Beef was among those Hellions slain by the time-travelling Trevor Fitzroy during the villain's assault on the Hellfire Club. Recently, Beef was revived with an alien techno organic virus.

Beef was a mutant whose augmented muscle mass granted him superhuman size, strength, endurance, and durability. The maximum limits to his strength and durability were unknown, though he proved capable of battling the New Warrior named Namorita to a near-standstill.
