Linda Lens was a skilled freelance photographer who took a job for Day Magazine at the suggestion of her boyfriend, Bob Crowley. The magazine sent her to France where she ended up catching spies and covering the black market.

After the war, Linda worked as a newspaper photographer at The Daily World. She solved crimes with reporter/photographer, Vince Hannigan.
