The '''Rain King''' is a spirit who controls the rain over all Earth.

When he gets too much water in his basin, some spills over the brim. That makes it rain in a certain part of the country (a real hard shower for a time) and sends the Rainbow scampering to show his glorious bow.

*Tik-Tok of Oz (mentioned only)

*The Rain King does not appear as a character in the Oz books but, is mentioned in connection with Polychrome and the Rainbow.
