Wilton of the West, "Wiley" to his friends, was a cowboy in the American west who, with his sidekick, the whiskered Snorty, and ally, Mary Bennon, the Crimson Rider, tried to bring justice to the untamed west. He usually rode his white horse, Ace.

*Jumbo Comics #1-24

*Some online sources list Wilton of the West as the Crimson Rider but, they are separate characters (and genders).
*Jack Kirby used the house pen name of "Fred Sande" in the first three issues. Afterwards, "Fred" was Lou Fine.
