A member of a book club with an employee of Carter Granholme, Sandra was introduced to Carter and the two hit it off and begin dating. At some point she began taking on an identity of a costumed thief, stealing works of art and riding in a hot air balloon. She revealed that she knew Carter was Lightbringer, after the latter had deduced her own identity, and expressed her appreciation of their cat-and-mouse hero and villain relationship over their romantic relationship as civilians.
