The man known as "Fargo Kid" earned his moniker and reputation while protecting the Fargo Express stagecoaches from repeated thefts by highwaymen. He eventually became bored, and took to a nomadic life in search of excitement and new adventures.
He was level-headed, quick-thinking, an excellent horseman, and good with his fists (which he seemed to prefer over the guns he carried).
