Interrogating one of them, Terry was told that none of the thugs knew who their boss was, and that all of them mailed their collection of dough to the Globe Building, to be picked up at 5 o'clock. Unbeknownst to Terry, one of the thug informed the leader of Terry's discovery, and Terry was led into an alleyway, where he was promptly knocked unconscious. After he was brought to their boss, a local politician named Martin, Terry regained consciousness and defeated Martin and the racketeers.
