The '''Interplanetary Police''' (IP), led by Captain Bruce Warren and his brother Terry Warren, patrols space to maintain order in the Solar System. Their greatest enemies are interplanetary criminals, the most feared of which is Tanya the Space Siren, a ruthless criminal with ambitions to dominate space. Tanya begins her series of meteorite attacks, destroying important landmarks on Earth, such as the Rose Bowl and Wrigley Field, creating panic and demanding Earth's surrender. Bruce and Terry, always at the forefront of the chase, manage to thwart her plans, but she remains a constant threat. In a subsequent move, Tanya attacks a spaceship, the Star Queen, in search of Atovar, a fuel more efficient than uranium. As the Star Queen prepares to transport Atovar to Venus, the Interplanetary Police set a trap to capture her, but Tanya intercepts the cargo and takes the fuel to her secret base. The Warren brothers follow her there, where they discover that the Atovar was not what it seemed, leaving the police frustrated.

On another mission, Bruce and Terry are sent to Rex, where Tanya attempts to steal taganium, a valuable mineral found on the asteroid. Once again, the Interplanetary Police pursue the villain to her base, where they face more challenges in their attempt to prevent the theft.

Tanya also kidnaps Dr. Marcus, a scientist responsible for inventing a space magnet. She plans to use her invention for her own purposes, and Bruce and Terry are once again called upon to rescue the scientist and thwart her plans.

Later, Tanya mounts a solar mirror on a small planetoid and redirects the sun's rays to melt the planet Simia, allowing the extraction of platinum from beneath its frozen layer. However, by diverting the solar energy, she causes a drastic drop in the Earth's temperature, which begins to freeze. Bruce and Terry track down the source of the energy theft, arriving at the planetoid where they face Tanya once again to restore balance and prevent disaster.

In the first three stories, the team is called the Interplanetary Police and the '''Interstellar Police''' in the last two.
