Lee Nace worked as New York City private eye. He earned the nickname the Blond Adder due to a serpent shaped scar on his forehead, that he got from a knife with snake shaped carving on the hilt.

He used both his scientific knowledge and numerous gadgets to solved many strange cases including meteors, poisonous green skeletons, exploding bodies, and more. His gadgets included a metal skull cap that resembled hair, knockout dart cufflinks, a hammerless .38 gun, and a knockout gas shooting panama hat.

Blond Adder was fully trained as both a doctor and a lawyer. In addition, he was an acrobat, a chemist, a cowboy and a magician. Scotland Yard even once kept him in England paid with fabulous salary, to study his methods.
