The '''Green Archer''' was a supposed phantom bowman that haunted Garre Castle in England, hanged in 1487. The mysterious figure manifested in the early 20th Century when a victim was found dead with an arrow in his waistcoat. Said casualty had recently been in a dispute with the castle’s enigmatic owner, Abe Bellamy, who had resided in Chicago as a criminal and was seeking to prevent any investigations of the mysterious return.
The corpse is discovered by Spike Holland, an American reporter for The Daily Globe, who turned the green arrow over to the police. Scotland Yard sends in James Lamotte Featherstone to investigate Bellamy. He becomes involved in the events after he is hired by a millionaire to keep an eye on his daughter.
The Green Archer is described as wearing a green leotard and a mask that conceals their identity. The Green Archer is a skilled archer, using the bow and arrow with deadly accuracy to strike fear into their targets.
