'''Prince of Gamma''' is an orphaned alien prince from another planet who protects Tokyo and even the Earth from a variety of perils. He is assisted by a brave, wise, adult professor. He debuted in kamishibai (paper theater).

He wears a costume consisting of a tight blue bodysuit with a chest insignia, yellow cape and a headdress shaped like a bird. He could fly, was invulnerable, and had super-strength. He even had a secret identity, disguised as a poor street urchin.

His rogues’ gallery included a blue, baldheaded evil scientist; a laser-eyed alien shaped like a brain, and a White Peril military who use Nautilus-inspired submarines (disguised to look like giant crabs) to sink Japanese shipping.

*Only the original depiction of the character is public domain in Japan. Any television appearances or films are still protected by their respective copyright owners.
*Prince of Gamma bare a lot of semblance to DC Comics' Superman, who debuted later that same decade, as well as Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy.
