The Devil was a villain who wore a costume consisting of trunks, gun holster, horns, and a mustache. He began to send threatening messages to the wealthy Sinclair Barlow to extort money from him. Barlow informed Wing Turner who spotted the Devil's plane and took flight. After an aerial dog-fight, the Devil was forced to return to his castle with a damaged plane.

Turner pursued the villain and then fought hand-to-hand. During the struggle, the Devil's disguise was knocked loose revealing him as "Baldy" Barry. Baldy claimed he had cheated the electric chair and he will again. Barry then jumped into a convenient lava pit.
