'''Herman''' is a small anthropomorphic mouse with a penchant for mischief.

In his earliest appearances, he is seen living in the same chicken coop with Henry and Bertha Henpeck as well as his wife. Despite his careless, lazy lifestyle, Herman does share genuine sympathy for Henry and is willing to put himself in danger just to give the rooster some company and a much needed break from his abusive wife.

However, he is also not above starting conflicts to further his own agendas, such as when he convinces a cat and a dog to kill each other due to their nature in order to raid the kitchen fridge they were guarding.

Despite this, he is always willing to help his cousins against defeating a cat (Katnip), in order to save themselves, using multiple different ways, by using a bell or throwing the cat in the pit.

*Herman was planned to appear in ''Who Framed Roger Rabbit''.
*Herman would later appear with a cat character that would eventually be named “Katnip”. This would eventually form the “Herman and Katnip” series, known for being more violent than Tom and Jerry and inspiration for Itchy and Scratchy in the Simpsons.
