'''Henry''' is a meek and melancholic anthropomorphic rooster who lives in an unhappy marriage with his abusive wife Bertha Henpeck.

While enemies at first, Henry develops a friendship with Herman when the mouse offers to help him to keep Bertha away due to her extreme fear of mice. The plan seems to work out, but Bertha's schemes to separate the two can oftentimes succeed.

While abused and mistreated by his wife, Henry is shown to be quite lazy and careless without her, getting drunk with Herman and using the eggs he was assigned to incubate for billiards balls. He is also not above threatening violence back at her when given the opportunity.
