'''Carlus Guinard''' was a European statesman of the mid-20th century and a member of the clientele of the Inn, a meeting place constructed on a parallel world interlocked with Earth.

Guinard would interact with other luminaries from throughout the history of the human race. After going into exile during the Second World War, Guinard sought to beg for assistance from his fellow Inn-members, only to accidentally bring along United States Army Lieutenant Merrill. After failing to convince the group and Merill's attempt to blackmail them into assisting Guinard, Su Suum convinced Guinard that he could accomplish his task without their aid, and Guinard returned home.
