Rusty Adams works by day as a copy boy for the Daily Herald. When danger threatens, however, he puts on a costume and becomes "Crash Kid, boy nemesis to gangdom!" He has no superpowers.

*Cannonball Comics #1-2

*The cover of ''Cannonball Comics'' #1 shows his fellow heroes, Crime Crusader and Thunderbrand, captured by the Death Dealer with only Crash Kid free to fight the monster. The cover of issue #2 has him fight the Devil with the aid of a flying taxi cab. Neither of these events were depicted inside the issues.
