Buzzy Boop is a character introduced in the 1938 Fleischer Studios animated short film titled "Buzzy Boop." Unlike her more refined and demure older cousin Betty, Buzzy is characterized by her tomboyish demeanor and mischievous energy. She has a penchant for playful trouble, such as using chewing gum to reattach a sleeping man's toupee and watering the flowers in a lady's hat.

Upon arriving at Betty's home, Buzzy attempts to join a group of neighborhood boys playing marbles. Despite initial resistance due to her gender, she impresses them with her skills in balancing on fences and holding her own against a goat the boys set loose, eventually earning their respect and acceptance.

Buzzy shares some semblance to her cousin, but with braided hair tied with ribbons and a much scrawnier physique. She is portrayed as being between eight and twelve years old
