Nomad Queen was the leader of a desert bandit tribe who had seized power from her husband Dali. When she planned to attack a defenseless village, Dali, now exiled, sought out adventurer Safari Cary to stop her.
Cary flew to the camp in his plane. The Queen tried to seduce him into joining her, but he refused. Angered, she ordered his execution. That's when Dali appeared with a rifle and shot, killing the Queen. Cary took advantage of the chaos to escape as the nomads began fighting among themselves for power. Without their leader, the tribe split into rival factions. While repairing his plane, Cary reflected on how the Queen's death had triggered an internal war that would permanently weaken the nomads.
