Mrs.Frankenstein was a mate created for Frankenstein by the scientist Dr. Ullrich in 1942 using the notes of Victor Frankenstein. The doctor hoped to tame the monster's violent nature by giving him a friend. However, this potential redemption ended in flames when an angry mob burned the laboratory, killing both the bride and Dr. Ullrich.

* Mrs. Frankenstein was inspired by the Bride of Frankenstein who while a failed experiment that never came to life in the book was often completed and brought to life in subsequent adaptations.
* Not to be confused with another Mrs. Frankenstein, Elizabeth, who was the wife of Victor in the novel. Elizabeth appears in the first stories of the series published in Prize Comics #7-9.
* Another short-lived companion appears in Frankenstein #28, where a scientist revives a violent and amnesiac woman executed for murder to serve as a companion for Frankenstein’s Monster. Despite the Monster’s initial opposition, he forms a protective bond with her. After she kidnaps a baby, the scientist hides a bomb inside a doll to destroy her. The explosion kills the companion, leaving the Monster alone once again.
