Marna was the girlfriend of Lance Lewis, Space Detective. She was an astronomer working as a freighter pilot who was captured by the Amoeba Men. After being rescued by Lance, Marna joined him in fighting interplanetary aliens/space menaces and solving mysteries involving aliens, space ships, and lasers.

She had no actual super powers, but used the devices built by Lance using his 22nd century knowledge such as ray guns, jet packs, and more. She was also athletic and skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Their enemies include the Saturninans and the Solanoids.
