Laura is a talking parrot and the protagonist of the Laura comic strip topper drawn by Otto Messmer from 1926 to 1935. The strips was shown on Felix the Cat Sunday comic strips. In June 1935, the series was replaced by Bobby Dazzler.

Laura has yellow feet and a yellow beak. Her head is red and her body is green. She mimics sentences that other people say, often at the most inappropriate times.
