A huge, menacing spider becomes infatuated with the red-haired doll after she comes to life on Christmas Eve. Jealous of her affection for the toy soldier Napoleon, the spider kidnaps her and brutally attacks the soldier, leaving him in pieces. However, Napoleon manages to rebuild himself and ultimately destroys the spider using a toy train. With the spider defeated, the toys rejoice, and peace returns as the doll and soldier reunite.
