The Scarlet Knave, a legendary figure of the African desert, suddenly emerges with an ancient army and mysterious sandstorms to raid Rulah’s tribe.

Meanwhile, Cora and her lover seek treasure tied to her missing husband Daniel, but instead discover the Knave, his castle, and a sandstorm-causing machine. To save herself, Cora betrays her lover.

Then Rulah, aided by warrior Tandi, confronts the Knave—who is revealed to be her husband—but Tandi is killed and Rulah is stabbed. She ultimately kills the Knave with an axe.

Ironically, Rulah had already found the treasure and turned it over to authorities. The origin of the castle, the men, and their reverence for the Knave remains a mystery.
