Jane Curry was the only daughter of the owner of the Curry Company which manufactures tanks and airplanes. She is engaged to Jack Filan, a wealthy playboy who secretly fights crime as the costumed hero Night Hawk. Her fiance has no superpowers, but instead relies on his strength and acrobatic skills to battle foes, including the villainous Green Skull, who was secretly Norris, a business partner of her father in his tank building business. Jane is kidnapped by the Green Skull twice but is safely rescued by Nighthawk each time.
