Princess Venus, heir to the planet Venus and daughter of its rightful emperor, Gola, faces a dire fate when her father is imprisoned and presumed dead. The usurper, Emperor Coron, seizes the throne, cruelly silencing Venus by removing her tongue to prevent her from revealing the truth. Coron also forces her into an engagement, but their wedding is dramatically interrupted by Bruce Barlow, who has rescued Gola. Barlow, while investigating comets threatening Earth, had discovered that Coron was behind the attacks. After defeating the tyrant, Venus’s gratitude is expressed through her father, who offers Barlow a return journey to Earth aboard one of their rockets.
