Angela Brooks is a wealthy, witty socialite whose seemingly calm marriage is shaken when she discovers her husband Bob has spent the night in court with a showgirl. Though initially amused by Bob’s clumsy lies, Angela is hurt when she realizes he finds her too conventional and emotionally distant. Determined to reclaim her marriage, she shifts from passive acceptance to active strategy.

Encouraged by her maid, Angela boldly inserts herself into Bob’s deception, confronting both his friend Jimmy and his mistress Trixie in a farcical attempt to expose the truth. When this fails, Angela reinvents herself completely, attending a lavish zeppelin masquerade as the seductive “Madame Satan.” In disguise, she successfully captivates Bob, proving she can be as alluring and daring as her rival.

During the airship’s dramatic destruction, Angela reveals her true identity and ultimately sacrifices her advantage, securing Trixie’s promise to leave Bob alone. Surviving the chaos unharmed, Angela reunites with her repentant husband, emerging as a resilient, clever woman who saves her marriage by rediscovering her confidence and passion.
