The Flaming Claws were giant, nearly invisible beings controlled by Angel Eyes, an enemy of Fantomah. A mad scientist used these fiery, disembodied claws to terrorize jungle people and animals. Fantomah ultimately turned the Flaming Claws against their creator, causing the scientist to die of fright before defeating the creatures herself.
