Jerry King is Jane Drake’s neighbor and best friend who becomes her reluctant assistant during her detective adventures. Though often hesitant about getting involved in dangerous investigations, Jerry consistently helps Jane solve mysteries as her cases become more complex. His cautious personality contrasts with Jane’s bold determination, making him an important supporting partner throughout her growth as a teenage detective.
