Warda is the criminal accomplice and partner-in-crime to the fraudulent spiritualist Mr. Silvertip, helping him orchestrate elaborate hoaxes out of their base at No. 13 Shadow Lane. While she actively participates in their schemes, such as instructing Silvertip where to plant a stolen ring to fool Biff, Warda possesses a baseline conscience and superstition that her partner lacks.

Her role takes a dramatic and fatal turn when she senses a real, invisible ghostly presence (the spirit of Michael Gallant) listening and watching them inside the house. Terrified by the genuine paranormal activity, Warda becomes hysterical, accidentally drops Silvertip's favorite meerschaum pipe, and refuses to participate in any more supernatural crimes, threatening to leave and expose their fake operation to their newest mark, Kim Meredith.

Recognizing her as a threat to his survival and greed, Silvertip turns on Warda and cold-bloodedly shoots her to death, planning to hide her body and replace her with Kim. Ultimately, Warda's death becomes Silvertip's undoing; Captain Triumph and the police discover her bullet-ridden body hidden beneath the rubble of the house Silvertip blew up, providing the definitive murder evidence needed to expose his fraudulent empire and bring him to justice.
