Evila is a powerful sorceress with the ability to hypnotically dominate the minds of others, reducing her victims to obedient servants who carry out her every command. In ancient times, she used her dark magic to seize control of Egypt, then the most advanced civilization on Earth. Her reign eventually came to an end when her enemies defeated her, bound her as a mummy, and sealed her within a sarcophagus. Centuries later, Evila was awakened in the modern era by the Hooded One, a longtime enemy of Thunderbolt, leading to a renewed conflict between the ancient sorceress and the heroic Thunderbolt.
