Vida is introduced as Boo Pah Boo's stage partner, performing a snake-charming act wrapped in a live serpent. Her performance takes an aggressive turn when she brings her snake close to Nyoka, causing Nyoka to panic. Infuriated that Nyoka was scared of her "leetle snek," Vida slaps Nyoka across the face, prompting a fierce fistfight between the two women. When Nyoka gains the upper hand, Vida escalates the fight by drawing a dagger and threatening to kill her. Although Larry disarms her, she and Boo Pah Boo successfully frame Larry and Nyoka to the arriving guards, revealing herself to be part of the criminal conspiracy.
