Doe Ames is a courageous archaeologist and explorer who becomes Rocky Ryan's most frequent adventure companion. Intelligent, resourceful, and fearless, she first meets Rocky while leading an expedition to the lost city of Angkor-Thom after her father is forced to abandon the mission due to illness. Together, they uncover hidden treasures, survive deadly attacks, and solve ancient mysteries, including the true fate of the vanished civilization. Their adventures continue across the globe, including expeditions to the underground Antarctic city of Pola, the mysterious Land of the Blue Glass Tower, and dangerous island quests in search of a legendary white whale said to spawn valuable pearls. Doe also joins Rocky in the search for her missing father and other archaeological mysteries, proving herself to be an intelligent, capable, and equal partner throughout their globe-spanning adventures.
