Quicksilver, known as “the Laughing Robin Hood,” is a super-speed, acrobatic crimefighter. Operating from a secret lab, he has no established origin story.

Wilda, a skilled and daring crimefighter, insists on assisting Quicksilver, much to his annoyance. Thinking crimefighting is too serious and dangerous for a pretty girl, he repeatedly tries to avoid her, dubbing her “Nuisance” as she persists in showing up.

His foes include the Axis mesmerist Baron Hoff, the Black Cats circus aerialists, Dr. Morlo, the Human Fly, the Screaming Skull, the Witch Doctor, and the Speed Demons, who gain speed from special pills.
