Steve Saxon was the masked detective known as the White Mask. By day, he was the publisher of the Daily Blade. He was assisted by a personal servant named Tago, and wore a hat and trench coat. In his only published adventure, the White Mask tracked down a thief masquerading as a ghost in a castle owned by his friend, John Davenport.

Steve was wealthy (money is power), a good detective and a good fighter. As the White Mask, he carried a gun that shot knockout gas.
