Dr. Magno was a veteran of World War II, which mostly took place during the 1950s in his timeline. During the conflict, he lost his hands and had them replaced with steel hands which gave him magnetic powers. After the war though he turned to organized crime, leading to his arrest by Iron Skull. He later escaped from jail and resumed his criminal activities in Chicago. This time around, he captured the Iron Skull and kills his associates for an earlier betrayal using poisonous gas. Iron Skull eventually defeated him and turned him in where he would be punished for his crimes.
