Hoppy was a huge Captain Marvel fan who decided to say his hero's magic word transforming him into Hoppy the Marvel Bunny. Hoppy had a girlfriend named Millie who did not know his secret identity. His enemies included the Storm King.

Whenever Hoppy says his magic word, he transforms into Marvel Bunny and gains super-strength, speed, invulnerability, flight, and stamina.

*After Fawcett canceled ''Funny Animals'', the character moved to Charlton Comics who changed the name to Magic Bunny and removed the lightning bolt from its suit.
