Joe Djerk was an apprentice of the Sorcerer,the most powerful magician in Venice during the 1500s.The villainous Borgia wanted revenge on the Sorcerer and his Apprentice for refusing his request to make him invisible. However the Sorcerer outsmarts him and the Apprentice got lucky.

*Like the Disney cartoon, ''The Sorcerer's Apprentice'', this story is loosely based on the Goethe poem, ''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sorcerer%27s_Apprentice Der Zauberlehrling]''.
*Along with Bogey Man and Satanas, the Sorcerer and his Apprentice bestowed some of their powers (magic and luck, respectively) on Captain Milksop.
