In a laboratory, two scientists create a liquid distillate of lightning, thunder, concentrated sun atoms, and a teaspoon of sugar. Later, a mouse dunks his cheese in the liquid (believing it to be harmless) before eating it. As a result, he discovers he can fly and has super-strength. He decides to dedicate his powers to a war on crime -- and cats! Using his newly-acquired super-vision, the mouse locates a costume shop and creates his Supermouse uniform.

Supermouse's powers include flight, super-strength (the strength of 14,376 men and a boy), super-vision (a.k.a. super-sight), super-scent, super-hearing, and super-teeth. He needs to periodically eat his super-cheese in order to renew his powers.
