Mysta was a fortune teller and cult leader who claimed to have the ability to see into the future. Her followers were willing to kill themselves if she told them that they must. She was brought to justice by Simon Templar, aka The Saint.

This Saint story "The Saint and the Star Gazer" was later reprinted as a Mike Strong, Ace Private Eye story, retitled "Forecast for Death" in an unnumbered issue of 'Hooded Menace' (1951, Avon), with additional edits made to change some of the character's names, Pat Holm became Pat Kent and Hoppy Uniatz became Sandy Quirk.
