Yank Adams was the sidekick of Captain Fight and student of his secret identity Jeff Crocket, the Freeville High School athletic coach. Yank instantly recognized his teacher was Captain Fight regardless of the hero's mask. Yank also had a sister named Beth who was an outspoken women and loved sports. She appeared to be dating Jeff Crocket.

Along with Captain Fight, Yank fought enemies including the Smiler, Blitz, and Hooch.
