She was originally a part of Flux and Whammy - being that her younger brother was a guitar player and their surname was Barr (Whammy Barr).

They were given superpowers when Dr. Tinkerman's lab exploded as he was building a time machine. The pair ended up with abilities to travel through space and time. Flux can slow time down and Whammy can speed it up. They can work as separate entities or team up to enhance their powers.

The afforementioned Dr. Tinkerman as well as his robot girfriend, Anne Droid, and their robot army led by Boombox.
